Two years in Mexico

I came for the diving

I'd been to Cozumel three times before I moved, usually to dive. When I moved to Mexico in 2024, I started on Cozumel for six months, then lived in Playa del Carmen, then Puerto Aventuras.

I moved for scuba diving, but I ended up spending most of my time learning sport fishing and visiting ruins. One year for my birthday, Bradley and I went to Río Secreto, an underground river. It was also my first time zip lining, and we learned how to rappel.

My favorite spot in Mexico is still Holbox. It's where I saw my first whale shark, and where my brother came to visit and caught a huge tarpon. The Panama gallery picks up where this one leaves off.

Holbox is where I saw my first whale shark.
