Why Panama

We wanted somewhere that still had a big city close by, and people around us who are trying to grow too. Panama has both.

We first visited in December 2025. The canal photos are from a day trip to Monkey Island, plus a little fishing for peacock bass. On that same trip we took a salsa class and visited the Emberá tribe.

Since moving here I've been through my first earthquake. But the people here are so friendly. It's been amazing so far. The longer story is on my About page.
